This Privacy Policy explains how Vitalise LLC ("we," "us," "our"), which operates the Veris Beauty store at https://verisskin.com (the "Site"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information, and the privacy rights you have. It applies to visitors and customers in the United States.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone number (if you provide it), shipping and billing address, order details, and messages you send us. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Shopify Payments); we do not store full card numbers.
- Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel).
- Sensitive personal information: we do not intentionally collect sensitive categories (such as precise geolocation, health information, or government IDs) for our own purposes. Please do not send us health details; our products are cosmetics, not medical treatments.
2. How we use your information
To process and ship orders; provide customer support and honor the 60-Day Naked-Eye Guarantee; manage subscriptions; send transactional messages; send marketing (email/SMS) if you opt in; measure and improve the Site; run and measure advertising on platforms like Meta and TikTok; prevent fraud; and comply with law.
3. Cookies, pixels, and advertising
We use cookies and advertising pixels (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) to understand Site usage and to deliver and measure advertising. Under several U.S. state privacy laws, our use of these advertising cookies is considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out — see Section 6. Where you use a browser or device signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information.
4. How we share information
We share personal information with: service providers who work on our behalf (e.g., Shopify for our store and checkout; our fulfillment partner for fulfillment; Klaviyo for email/SMS; our payment processor); advertising partners (Meta, TikTok) as described in Section 3; and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your information for money. We do not knowingly share the personal information of individuals under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Your U.S. privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence (e.g., California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; delete it; correct it; obtain a portable copy; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted/cross-context behavioral advertising; and limit the use of any sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
How to exercise your rights: email privacy@verisskin.com or use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
6. Do Not Sell or Share / opt out of targeted advertising
To opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our Site footer, or enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. When we process your opt-out, we will indicate that your request was honored.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — to fulfill orders, support you, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Subscription and consent records are retained for at least the period required by law (for auto-renewal consent, at least 3 years). We then delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Email and SMS
If you opt in, we send marketing by email (you can unsubscribe from any email) and, where you separately opt in, by SMS (reply STOP to cancel; HELP for help; message and data rates may apply). Your SMS consent is separate from email and is never a condition of purchase.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. International visitors
The Site is intended for U.S. customers, and your information is processed in the United States.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. We'll post the new version here with an updated date and, where required, notify you.
